Who am I?

I’m Dr. Shannon Ruse, a Naturopathic Doctor passionate about helping you achieve your health goals through evidence-informed, integrative medicine. I’m a firm believer that health is more than just your physical symptoms—it’s about understanding the emotional, social and environmental factors that contribute to your well-being.

I want to help you see the bigger picture when it comes to your health now, and help you work proactively for a healthy future.

What is naturopathic medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a holistic healthcare model that combines traditional therapies with modern, evidence-based interventions. It focuses on lifestyle and behavioural changes in disease processes, and integrative and natural therapies to support symptom or chronic disease management.

Classic therapies include clinical nutrition and exercise counselling, comprehensive lab testing, botanical and supplemental medicine, vitamin therapies, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and cupping.
